The 12th RISA Convention
MGIMO-University will host the 12th Russian International Studies Association (RISA) Convention “The World of the Regions vs. the Regions of the World” 21-22 October, 2019.
The 12th RISA Convention Programme (PDF)
The Programme of the Convention will include ASEAN — Russia Forum on Education; the Conference of the French-Russian Trianon Dialogue and the Association of the Leading Universities entitled «Academic Diplomacy. The Role of Leading Russian Universities»; a plenary session «World of Regions VS Regions of the World»; a plenary session «Diplomacy: Experience and Heritage of the Era» devoted to great Russian diplomats such as Anatoly Dobrynin, Oleg Troyanovsky, Yuri Vorontsov, Evgeni Primakov; a special session of MIKTA and others.
The Convention is held with the support of MGIMO Endowment, MGIMO Alumni Association, PAO Severstal, the Center for Russian-Polish Dialogue and Understanding, the Russian-French Civil Society Forum Trianon Dialogue, the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund.

4 September — deadline for the abstracts and texts of reports and articles
15 September — publication of the list of participants and reports on the RISA website
24 September — deadline for online registration on the RISA website (obligatory for all participants)
28-29 September — XI RISA Convention
All submitted abstracts and manuscripts are assessed in accordance with the peer-review procedure (Reviewing rules).
