X RISA Convention — Coming soon
Seven weeks are left before the X jubilee Convention of the Russian International Studies Association (RISA) “25 years of Russia"s foreign policy” that will take place on December, 8-9, 2016 with the support of the MGIMO Endowment Foundation.
Now the list of sections and the working agenda of the X RISA Convention are on the final stage of formation. By this moment the agenda includes 2 plenary sessions and 52 sections and round tables (the list of sections is constantly updated) and the exhibition of book and journal novelties in the sphere of international relations, published by Russian publishing houses and think tanks. Besides, within the framework of the X RISA Convention two partner events will be held: international conference “Russia and Poland in new environment: are there opportunities for cooperation?” and a conference dedicated to closing of the year of the 20th anniversary of ASEAN – Russia Dialogue partnership.
The Organizing committee of the X RISA Convention kindly reminds that everyone interested is welcome to participate as speakers or listeners. Participation in the X RISA Convention requires registration and payment. The speakers are also expected to submit the abstracts of their reports (requirements) to moderators of corresponding sections (moderator"s contacts are available here).
The Organizing Committee offers two participation packages:
Package 1 (fee – 1600 rubles)
- Badge of participant
- Bag of participant
- Publication in the collection of conference papers
- Meals (coffee-breaks, lunch, reception) during two days of the Convention
Package 2 – for MGIMO staff only (fee – 800 rubles)

* Meals are not included, but there is an opportunity to order them for the fee of 800 rubles.
Important dates of the 10th RISA Convention:
20th November – deadline for the abstracts
28th November – publication of the list of participants and the abstracts at the RISA website
5th December – deadline for on-line registration and payment (obligatory for all participants)
8-9th December – the 10th RISA Convention days
15th January – deadline for texts of reports
